On the façade of the Hard Days Night Hotel are statues of the four members of the Beatles.
The Liverpool Echo wrote in 2007:
( ) Seven foot tall statues of the Fab Four will grace the front of the new North John Street landmark which is due to open this autumn.
The figures have been created by city sculptor David Webster, 61, at his studios in Sandhills. Mr Webster, who designed the Cavern Wall of Fame, created the new John Lennon statue [see here] when the hotel plan was first discussed several years ago.
He said: "At that stage it didn't happen, but when the hotel was back on, the developers said they loved the Lennon statue and asked me to do the rest of the band. George is taken from around the time of the concert for Bangladesh, John in New York, Paul in his Wings period, and Ringo at around the same time."
