Along the east side of Stall Street is a colonnade on both sides of the Great Pump Room. The southern colonnade is the entrance to the King's and Queen's bath, the northern is the gate to Abbey Churchyard. On both is a pediment with a relief showing the head of Hygeia with a snake in a wreathed oval, flanked by two sphinxes. The face on the northern pediment looks to the right, the other to the left.
