This is Generalfeldmarschall Paul von Hindenburg (Posen - Poznán 1847 - Gut Neudeck 1934), Prussian-German field marshal, statesman, and politician, and served as the second President of Germany from 1925 to 1934 (Wikipedia).

Annotation
G.F.M. von Hindenburg was appointed as the 'Inhaber' (Colonel-in-Chief) of k.u.k. Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 69 on the 29th of November 1914 in succession to the late Feldzeugmeister Ernst Freiherr von Leithner who had died in July 1914.
