Concrete sculpure of a lioness and two lion cubs.
It is a gift of Adolphe Blaton (1835-1905), who founded together with his wife Adèle Aubert, the company 'Entreprises Blaton Aubert'. The company sold building materials; by the end of the 19th century the firm firm specialized in the application of concrete. The lioness and lion cubs by Arthur Aubert (family?) was one of their sculptures produced in series (there is also a copy in the Parc Jacques Brel in Forest, Belgium).
