Large bronze sculpture, one of the largest public sculptures in Slovenia. The monument weighs 19 tons and is made up of geometric surfaces, verticals and triangles. The sculpture is an artistic interpreation of the mass movement and is described by the sculptor as a set of crowds, fights and revolutionary victories.
The sculptor started his work in 1964, assited by some ten employees, including the sculptor's brother, Dusan Tršar. The bronze was cast in Zagreb in 170 pieces that were welded into four large pieces which were transported to Ljubljana.
