Annotation
Arizona Knights of Columbus attended the unveiling of a monument base at Christopher Columbus Park in Tucson. In 1990, at the request of the Arizona Knights, the park was renamed for the explorer. In 1991 they installed two flagpoles in the park to celebrate the start of the Quincentennial. The Knights eventually hope to top the base with a statue of Columbus.
