Description
Bust of Columbus wearing a hat, a collared shirt and a coat with, perhaps, a fur collar. He has a pageboy haircut and a medallion hangs on his chest. The bust stands on an inscribed two-tiered base. On the top tier there is a brass plaque depicting an ancient sailing ship, perhaps one of Columbus', with crosses on some of its sails.
