a legend in his own time
as he is today

midnight was born in canada, the property of
jim mcnabb. mcnabb's "door key" brand was
midnight's mark throughout his life. he bucked on
the american rodea circuit from 1923 to 1933 at which
time he was retired by his owners ed mccarty and
vernon elliott. only nine men managed to stay
aboard in all those years.

this lifesize monument was sculptured by
JACK BRYANT
and presented to the city of fort worth
january 19, 1984
by those here named
