Description

Column topped by an image of victory, a woman holding a torch in her outstretched arms.

There are two plaques at the front of the base, placed in 1984. Left with the text: remember 1944 12 sept 1984 u.s. first infantry division; and right with a portrait of an American soldier with the text: das 3. ardennenjaegerregiment.
