Margarida e Augusto de Athayde, seus filhos Augusto, Duarte
e Luise e seu neto António aqui colocaram este busto para
assinalar o centenário da visita de El-Rei Dom Carlos
ao Jardim José do Canto.

O original da autoria de António Augusto da Costa Mota
pertence ao Museu da Assembleia da República que
autorizou a sua fundição.

Margarida and Augusto de Athayde, their children Augusto, Duarte,
and Luise and their grandson António put this bust here
to mark the centenary of the visit of King Carlos
to the José do Canto Garden.

The original by António Augusto da Costa Mota
belongs to the Museum of the Assembly of the Republic, that
authorized its casting.
